The month of May is filled with award ceremonies honoring those who dedicate their time to making the world a better place. Three young ladies from the Computer Magnet at Thomas Jefferson and North High Schools got the chance to receive the Aspirations in Computing Award from the NCWIT (National Center for Women & Information Technology). Seniors Alia Gant (TJ) and Daniela Canizalez (North), and Junior Christina Danek (TJ), were all recipients of the awards given by the NCWIT.
