Student Council Attendance Policy 2006-2007

  1. Meetings will commence the second or third week of the new school year. 
  2. Meetings will be held in the Student Council Room(215) during lunch.
  3. Meetings will be announced the week they take place, but are held bi-weekly from the first meeting on. 
  4. Attendance at meetings is mandatory.
  5. If an officer misses three meetings and absences are unexcused, it will be assumed that they are no longer interested in participation and they will be removed from the roster. 
  6. Officers are responsible for meeting with either an All-School officer or the advisor for missed information. 

Student Council Election Policy Est. 2006-2007
______________________________________________________

  1. Upperclass elections will be held during the last 6 week grading period of each year. 
  2. Offices consist of President, vice-President, Secretary/Treasurer, and Class Representative for All-School and each class level.
  3. Students may run as co-officers, but may only run for one office per election.   
  4. Students may not run for any office without the proper paperwork filled out and signed by a parent/guardian. 
  5. Freshman Elections will be held during the first 6 week grading period of the new school year. 
  6. All-School officers must attend the Freshman Mixer in the fall to recruit Freshmen.
