On Tuesday, February 12th, the boys’ hoop squad played Denver North High School in a DPS league matchup and was able to come away with the huge victory, 81-46. Sophomore Josh McNair led the Spartans’ scoring with 14 points. The hoop squad was dominant throughout the whole game and never gave up the lead. “We started strong and were able to continue our dominant force throughout the game all the way to the end,” stated Senior Deondre Thompson. The boys hope to continue their winning streak in DPS with their game against Kennedy at home on Wednesday, February 20th at 7 p.m. This is the last home regular season game for the boys, so be sure to come out and support them.
