Friday afternoon,  2:44
Sitting here in Spamp’s classroom, it’s only about thirty more seconds until I am finally free for the weekend.
2:45
I’m out, I’m out. Now, what to do next?
3:09
I’m home now, but there is nothing to do. No one is available until later tonight, but I don’t know what we should all do. I have seen all the good movies, and going out to dinner just seems boring. I don’t feel much like bowling or doing anything like that.  I have an idea; we should all go to the Nuggets game.
7:18
I call the gang, and round them all up for the game tonight, which just so happens to be a late game, starting at 8:30 It also is going to be shown on ESPN, who only broadcasts the marquee NBA games.
7:52
We arrive at the Southmoore Light Rail Station, purchase our tickets, (which have been increased a hefty amount since their introduction) and scurry down the stairs and then back up a separate set of stairs, en route to the actual train station.
7:58

The E- Line shows up right on time as usual. It runs every half hour on either a 28 or 58. We climb aboard and are off on our journey to the Pepsi Center.
8:09
The train reaches the Broadway station and we are only about five minutes away. The total trip takes about 20 minutes if everything is running right.
8:14
Destination reached.  With only 16 minutes until game time, my friends and I still need to acquire tickets. However, it should be noted that all late games featured on ESPN will not start until about 8:45, and we have factored that into our plans.
8:18
Most people either already have tickets, or go to the box offices to purchase their tickets, but not me. I usually go to ticket peddlers, and tonight is no exception. The gang and I all purchase twenty-five dollar tickets for ten dollars each, what a steal!
8:32
We finally arrive at our seats; section 302, row 12, which is located at the top level directly on center court.
8:33
Time for the National Anthem, the starting lineups and of course time to witness the best mascot in basketball history, Rocky the Mountain Lion. Tonight Rocky decided to jump over a flame of fire and slam it home.  Pretty insane.

8:44
Time for tip off. After several hours of coordinating plans, it is now time to reap the benefits.
9:11
The first quarter ends, and the squad and I are hungry. Goodtimes is the perfect place to fill our hunger.
9:15
After ordering and receiving my cheeseburger, fries, and pop for roughly 10 bucks, it is back to our seats to check out the second quarter.
9:26
During a timeout, Rocky just stole a vendor’s cotton candy and gave it all out to the fans. What an amazing mascot.
9:46
The second quarter has came to an end. Time for the halftime show…or maybe not. It’s usually pretty dull. The show is normally a dog trick show, or something foolish like that. I just elect to walk around instead of sit through that jazz. The Nuggets are leading at halftime which is always a good thing. Billups and Melo’ appear to be on their game tonight.
10:00
Halftime is over, and the third quarter has begun. We have now reached the ten o’clock point, and the Nuggets are playing tight. Nene just energized the crowd with another one of his vicious slam dunks. Rocky is up to his shenanigans again. This time he made his classic backwards half court shot. Perfect swish! Rocky’s shot always seems to get the crowd into the game.

10:44
The game is nearing the end, and it is shaping into a nail bitter. That is exactly what I want as a Nuggets fan. The Nuggets really need this win for their record.
11:19
Game over, the Nuggets win. The Nuggets were lead by Chauncey Billups’ sensational play. Awesome, but now what shall we do?
11:20
I have a brilliant idea. I inform the crew that we should all go downtown and walk around the 16th street mall.  It’s very nice and peaceful, and we get a cozy type of vibe. The 16th street mall is personally a favorite of mine, strictly for its atmosphere if nothing else.
12:05
It’s already tomorrow, and besides, the boys and I have had our fill of downtown and we are ready to go home.
12:09
We hop on the Light Rail at 16th and Stout, and catch a ride home.
12:26
Home sweet home. We arrive at Southmoore, concluding our exciting night.
12:26
I can’t wait for next weekend!
