TJ’s most talented students to be showcased at the annual event this Friday.
Coming up this Friday, May 8th is TJ’s Got Talent, the annual school talent show. The event will showcase TJ’s most talented students in a wide variety of skills and creativity. Unlike last year’s installment, TJ Idol – which focused primarily on singing talents only – TJ’s Got Talent will consist of several different acts that stretch all the way across the entertainment spectrum.
“I think that broadening the qualifications for the show will make for a much more entertaining show,” said TJ’s Got Talent organizer, Choir Teacher Edwina Hebert. “Each and every act we have this year is very fun and entertaining, and I’m really excited for everyone to see the show.”
There are a total of seven acts this year. After each act performs, the audience will vote, and three finalists will be announced. After round two, the judges will announce the winner. In addition to the seven contestants, there will also be a special mini-concert performance by last year’s winner Ky Snow.
Every year TJ puts on a spectacular talent show that always leaves the audience dazzled, and under Hebert’s organization, with an exciting line-up ready to go, this year’s edition will be no different. Be sure to stop by the TJ auditorium this Friday night to catch all the acts.
