Feel the love with this year’s Valentine’s Day Spirit Week.
With COVID-19 still limiting events that are typical for a normal year, Thomas Jefferson High School is still carrying on their traditions of a winter season spirit week. This week will contain four days of fun attire with the closure of TJ Day.
Monday’s spirit theme (2/14) will be Valentine’s Day, which encourages students to wear their pink in red to celebrate the holiday. Throwback to your old elementary school favorites for Tuesday’s spirit wear (2/15), Disney day. Wear your Disney or Marvel gear or dress as your favorite character to participate. A little white lie never hurt… so wear it on your shirt! Wednesday’s theme (2/16) will include students wearing a white t-shirt with a written white lie about themselves. Students will have both Monday and Tuesday during lunch in the Dance Room to get some inspiration and create their shirts.Thursday’s theme (2/17) gives students free rein on a creative way to carry their school supplies. “Anything but a Backpack” day means microwaves, suitcases, shopping carts, you name it.Finishing the week, will be our Friday (2/18) TJ Day. Get decked out in your brown and gold and show your Spartan spirit!
Even though the world is anything but normal, Spartans are committed to carrying on with “normal” fun spirit weeks! Do not miss out on the opportunity to participate in the fun spirit days and activities for the Valentine’s Day week (2/14-2/18).
