This may seem a little late but it is an absolutely necessary thank-you. Just as the credits roll at the end of a well designed movie so must the credits roll after a well organized and successful 2010 Prom and After Prom event.
First a big thank-you is in order for the Senior Class for supporting the entire event from start to finish. Without your participation there would be no Prom or After Prom. Thanks for four years of buying flowers, t-shirts, candied apples, Jamba Juice, pizza, bagels, etc… For eating out where you were asked to, like: McDonalds, Old Chicago, Noodles, Beau Jo’s, Chipotle, The Garlic Knot etc… For washing cars, playing Santa/Santa‘s helpers, working the craft fair, running around the school, or doing anything else that helped us to reach this fabulous goal. The community effort you have displayed for the past four years is amazing. Thanks again!
Secondly it’s very important to Thank Ms. Witulski and Ms. (Starks) Holtmann, the two Senior Class Sponsors and Cindy Allen the Senior Class Parent Sponsor for their dedication to the class of 2010 and the success of this event from the very beginning – 4 years ago. Without their hard work and commitment to this class, this night would not have been the beautiful event it was. The time and talent they gave to this class goes well beyond what is to be expected of any sponsor, the fund raising, planning, the Prom DVD, and just plain 4 years of constant work toward this event is inspirational. Thanks for loving our kids!
Next a BIG THANK -YOU to Ms. Just, the faculty and staff of Thomas Jefferson High School. For all of those who chaperoned, dealt cards, made announcements, let us borrow chairs and clothes racks, fixed the wrestling door on a Saturday, handed out prizes and took sign ups, answered all the endless questions “Is she a senior?” “Where’s the Fire Marshall?” “Can we do this or that?” helped in any other way, oh my gosh do we owe you all a BIG THANK-YOU. All of the staff here have been so great and so supportive it’s nice to call TJ home. We could never pull off an event like this without every single one of you. Also a thanks to the security and cleaning crews, who were willing to work overtime for us, we love you guys. Thank-you Junior parents who gave up your Sunday morning to help us clean up. Thanks again to all of you here at TJ and know that we support you all too!
Next there is our community around TJ that has supported this event in one way or another either through a donation or a discount. The list is long, but important because these are the business in our community that appreciate our school and our children. Thank-You:
MICRO CENTER, SAM TAYLORS BBQ, BUTLER RENTS, BIG AIR JUMPERS, AMBERG ENTERTAINMENT, STUMPS, SAFEWAY, KING SOOPERS, SEARS, JAMBA JUICE, STARBUCKS, TARGET, THE DENVER BRONCOS, CROWN BURGER, BEAU JO’S, THE GARLIC KNOT, OLD CHICAGO,NOODLES & COMPANY, CHIPOTLE, TIMBUK TOYS, NEW YORK DELI, THE FRESH FISH COMPANY, EL AGUAVE, DAVE AND BUSTERS, THE BRIARWOOD STEAKHOUSE, THE BREAKFAST INN, SCHLOTSKYS, BIG PAPA’S BBQ, MINGS DYNASTY, COLD STONE CREAMERY, LIL’ RICCI’S PIZZA, PICCOLO’S, PEI WEI, DAIRY QUEEN, WATER WAY CARWASH, LAS CARAS, GO CAR AUTO NATION, SOUPER SALADS, COSCO and HAPPY CANYON WINE AND SPIRITS. Hopefully we’ve forgotten no one and if so, sorry.
Last, but of course not least, Thank-you SENIOR PARENTS. Every parent had a hand in this event at some level either through your love, support, time or money. Every one of the children in the class of 2010, whether they attended Prom, After-Prom or not is special and will be remembered forever. Our kids are worth all the love, money and time we have given and this hopefully will be 4 years and a night that they will never forget. After all that’s what in the end we hope to have left, Great Memories shared with wonderful other people. THANK -YOU PARENTS for all of your love and support of this years class.
Sincerely,
2010 AFTER PROM COMMITTEE
