Read below for an important message from the administration.
Dear Thomas Jefferson High School families,
We are committed to letting you know about incidents that affect our school and our community. Earlier this week, we learned of an incident of a sensitive nature involving our students. Due to student confidentiality, I am unable to provide more specific information.
As soon as the matter was brought to our attention, we immediately began an investigation and notified the Denver Public Schools Department of Safety and Denver Police to support. The investigation is ongoing.
All of the students involved are safe. All of these students are away from the school during the investigation. From the onset of the investigation, we have kept families of these students updated with information, and we will continue to update them as it continues.
Thank you for your support in helping to keep our school a safe place of learning. We take this situation very seriously and are determining appropriate next steps.

Estimadas familias de la Escuela Preparatoria Thomas Jefferson:
Tenemos el compromiso de informarles sobre los incidentes que afecten a nuestra escuela y a nuestra comunidad. A inicios de la semana, nos enteramos de un delicado incidente que involucró a nuestros estudiantes. Por motivos de confidencialidad estudiantil, no puedo proveerles información más específica.
Inmediatamente después de enterarnos del incidente, iniciamos una investigación y notificamos y solicitamos apoyo del Departamento de Seguridad de las Escuelas Públicas de Denver y de la Policía de Denver. La investigación continúa en marcha.
Todos los estudiantes involucrados se encuentran a salvo y no asistirán a la escuela durante el curso de la investigación. Desde el inicio de la investigación, hemos mantenido informadas a las familias de dichos estudiantes y continuaremos actualizándolos durante el proceso.
