The TJ Spartans play the Rangeview Raiders, and win in four games on senior night.

Thomas Jefferson played their last home game on Wednesday October 24th.
As the game started off, the Raiders gained a big lead and beat the Spartans 26-24 in the first set. The Spartans came back hard the next three sets, and gained leads in all three sets. Although the Raiders played hard, it wasn’t enough to stop the Spartans from winning. The Spartans swept the Raiders away, finishing the match winning 3-1. It was a good win for TJ volleyball, because Rangeview has an impressive record, and they are ranked as one of the top 5 teams for 5A volleyball.

Not only did TJ beat a top 5A team, but they beat a top 5A team on senior night. “Senior night was really special this year, because I was the only senior on the team. Coach and the girls made me feel great. I’ve had an amazing four years on the volleyball team, and I wouldn’t want to end my last home game any other way. This is by far the best team we have had in my four years of volleyball here at TJ, and I have high hopes for state,” said Senior Angela Becker.
TJ continues to prove themselves as they enjoy their sixteen game winning streak. They will prepare for Regionals, which will be held here, at TJ, on Saturday, November 3rd.
