Spartan Volleyball Conquers All

The TJ Spartans play Gateway and Falcon, and win both matches effortlessly.

On September 20th, the Spartans went up against Falcon High School and destroyed the Falcons in a match that ended up 3-0.The Spartans were proud to knock the Falcons out of the top ten teams in state for 4A.

After beating the Falcons, the Spartans made their way in o the top ten for volleyball. TJ volleyball added two more wins to their previous record, making them 8-2. “I am really proud that we have won eight straight games, and I’m really excited to see our name in the top ten teams. It shows that all of our hard work is starting to pay off,” said Sophomore Varsity Starter, Caitlin Rogers.

Thomas Jefferson played the Gateway Olympians on September 19th, and dominated the Olympians 3-0. The Spartans started off hot with a lead of 10-0, and never once let up, keeping the Olympians under 15 points each set. The fans were extremely supportive during this homecoming week, giving the Spartans the inspiration to work hard.
