The TJ Hoop Squad is dominant in early postseason play.

On Friday, March 1st, the Boys’ Hoop Squad took on Mead High School in a second round home playoff game where the Spartans were victorious winning 61-30.
Senior Eric Andres led the way with 12 points and 12 rebounds as the Spartans found desirable depth that could contribute later on in the playoffs, as every single player scored a point.
The following day, the Spartans took on Thompson Valley High School in the Sweet 16, after previously watching them play on their home-court the night before against Sierra High School, on a scouting mission. The boys started out strong and after leading by 10 at half, then slightly faltered – giving away the lead in the third quarter – only to regain it and run away with a score of 70-55. Eric Andres put up big numbers once again with 19 points
and eight rebounds. Senior Cameron Brown also finished with 12 points and Junior Treyvon Andres with 14.

The Spartan Hoop Squad continues their playoff run as they will compete in the Great Eight this upcoming weekend against Wasson High School at the Denver Coliseum. Be sure to go out and support your Spartans as they look to continue their hot streak.
