On Friday, March 22 the Spartans took on Abraham Lincoln and lost 6-1. The boys scored one run in the 3rd inning but it wasn’t enough to overcome the lancers.
After a long spring break and a terrific time playing in Arizona, the boys looked to bounce back against a top 5A opponent in Fossil Ridge. On Saturday, March 30th, the Spartans lost 7-3 to the Sabercats, in a fiercely fought battle. “We played very well, and hung in there even with our young team,” stated Senior Antonio Pacheco. The Spartan record stands at 3-3 on the season, with their next game against Denver Christian High School on Tuesday April, 2nd at TJ at 4:00 p.m.
