Swim Girls Dominate

On Wednesday February 3rd girls’ swimming squared off against the lady Cowboys of West and took it to them, with a dominating score of 123-53.

Some individual results include Colette Hernandez taking 1st in the 200 Free, Kiera Classen taking 1st in the 200 IM, Andrea Shacklock taking 1st in 50 Free, Jamie Gray took first in the 100 Free, Alex Palmer took first in the 100 Back, and finally Chelsea Skubal placed first in the 100 Breast. “Every one of these girls swam their hearts out, it’s great seeing this team come together,” said Senior Jamie Gray.

The Spartans also performed great in the team competition, with a 1st place placing in the 200 Medley Relay, the 200 Free relay, and the 400 Free Relay.

Head Coach Cindy Allen stated, “ I am looking forward to the league meet this weekend. The team has worked really hard to reach this point in the season,” she went on to say. “ I just want to let them know how proud Coach [Aimee] Witulski and I are of their hard work and dedication to reach their personal goals.”
