Happening now until December 12 TJ librarian Sudi Stodola, is bringing the Blanket America Challenge to the home of the Spartans. You can take your hand made afghans down to the library now. The afghans should be 7 by 9 inches. The afghans will be sewn together into full blankets and sent downtown to give to families who are most in need. As Ms. Stodola presented it, “ It’s special to receive something that someone took their time to hand make rather than something just store bought.”

Knitters will need:
Worsted-weight acrylic yarns
Needle size should be 7 or less
The Garter Stitch
Crocheters will need:
Wrosted-weigtht acrylic yarns
The finished size should be 7’’ by 9’’
Hook: Size G crochet hook
