TJ lost their second straight game Friday Night, falling 57-62 to Thunder Ridge.
TJ put up a valiant effort but for the second straight game were denied, this time falling to 5A power Thunder Ridge. The boys were never able to get a consistent offensive game going, and once again struggled at the free throw line. The Spartans were lead offensively by seniors Ray Riley and Billy Sprague, who continue to put up good numbers in the early part of this season. “We played a good game and we still have things to work on. We have been in every game and it just comes down to executing things well,” said Spartan Junior Forward Ian Melnicoe.
The boys will next be in action on Wedenesday, December 9, when they take on Rock Canyon. This will be TJ’s home opener, and the game will begin at 7:00 pm.
