Friday, December 4th at 8 pm and Saturday, December 5th at 6pm, Downtown Denver will be illuminated with colorful Christmas lights, full of Santas and giant floats, buzzing with holiday tunes, and scented with hot chocolate and steaming apple cider. The Parade of Lights is back and flaunting its annual holiday spirit.
The Parade will begin in front of Civic Center Park and the City & County Building on Bannock street at 14th Avenue. The Parade is free to watch and a perfect way to get into the joyful spirit with close friends and family. Every year the Parade displays an assortment of talents. Citywide bands are harmonized with every jingle, twirlers synchronized with every spin and giant balloons sway with the crisp and cool breezes. “I am so excited to go to the Parade of Lights this year. I have been a candycane in the parade for the last two years so I am excited to finally sit back and enjoy the show,” shared TJ student Rebecca Holt.

9News is the proud sponsor of the Parade of Lights, which has lit downtown up every winter for many years. The Parade of Lights has become a signature event that takes place during the holidays. Bundle up TJ and don’t miss out on the spread of holiday cheer and stunning views!
