Counselors will meet with students in the Spring semester to begin the process of choosing classes for the following school year. They will also reach out to the feeder middle schools to do the same for incoming 9th graders. Students will have the opportunity to identify their core class preferences, as well as pick their elective classes. In many cases we will use test scores and teacher recommendations, in addition to the student’s preference, in determining which courses are the best fit.
