The Lady Spartans tie Woodland Park at one apiece.

The girls played a very complete game holding Woodland Park to few overall shots, but could not seem to get their offense going as the game could have easily gone either way.  The lone goal came from Junior Emily Cordes.  Both teams were lucky to escape without a loss in this defensive bout.

At this point in the season the girls have posted a record of 1-1-1 and won’t play again until after spring break when they take on Rampart, Monday, March 30.  “Hopefully the girls will maintain their focus over the long break,” said Junior Varsity Coach Jon Poole.

The girls are satisfied with the start of the season and are optimistic about moving forward.  “So far, we’re having a positive start to the season.  The girls seem to really be getting into it this year,” said Senior Captain Demi Sullivan.
