The girls’ golf team played in their first league match at City Park on March 22. The ladies played hard in there first competitive round of the season, setting high hopes for a good year. “Based on our first match I expect a good season for the team. All the girls played their best and did well,” said Head Coach Mark Smith.

The ladies showed improvement over their first round in the team’s second league match at Wellshire on April 7th. “The girls did well. A lot of them showed improvement over their scores from the first league match so I am happy to see them doing so well,” said Smith.

The third league match was on April 12th at City Park. “Everyone shot pretty well throughout the match on one of the harder courses we play,” said Chimi Youdon, who shot a 118 on the day.

Smith was very happy with the girls’ performance at City Park. “The girls are progressing very well, beyond my expectations for them. They really seem to be enjoying the season so far and are having fun,” said Smith.
