As the TJ doors close for the season, students head home for summer vacation.

The time has come once again for students, parents, faculty, and staff to enjoy that well-earned summer vacation. New articles will be posted at the end of August 2012, when the new Journal staff takes ownership of the newspaper, and we embark on a new year of reporting all the TJ news, sports, features, and reviews.
In the meantime, we invite readers to peruse the archives and review the past articles of the paper and enjoy the stories about all things Spartan.
Here are some important dates heading into the 2012-2013 school year:
Senior Registration: August 7, 8 a.m.-Noon
Junior Registration: August 8, 8 a.m.-Noon
Sophomore Registration: August 9,8 a.m.-Noon
Freshman Registration: August 10,8 a.m.-Noon
Freshman Academy: August 13-16, 7:30-11:30 a.m.
Walk-in Registration: August 16-17, 7:30-11 a.m. and 1-2 p.m.
Freshman Barbeque: August 16, 5:30 p.m.
Freshman First Day of School: August 27
All students at school: August 28
Back to School Night: September 6,5-7 p.m.
Mandatory Senior class/parent meeting: September 6, 7:15 p.m.-8 p.m.
