My name is Samanda Davis and I am the Social Worker for Thomas Jefferson High School. I have worked at Thomas Jefferson High School for 18 years and feel that it is my home away from home. I grew up in Arizona and the heat is where my heart is. You will never hear me complain about how warm it is outside. Stay away from me during the winter! I attended Northern Arizona University for my undergraduate and Arizona State university for my Masters in Social Worker. My experience prior to entering the school systems has been working with the elderly. I received my Licensed Clinical Social Work in 2003 and realized that adolescents and school social work is my passion.
I have been married for 13 years, have three children and three dogs. Life is busy and crazy but would not have it any other way. My hobbies are reading, I have been in a book club for 18 years which originally started with my TJ cohorts. I love to travel and have been to more than 50 countries. I spent a year abroad in England and anther year backpacking through South East Asia and Australia where I lived off a strict budget of $10 a day including accommodations and transportation. I love Colorado and proud to be raising my children here.
